CH. Firebuster's Gud Humor Man "Bob" is a multiple Best in Show and multiple Best in Specialty Show winning Dalmatian.  He is ranked in the top 15 show dogs in the history of the Dalmatian breed.  Bob has won more than 200 Best of Breed awards, 87 Group placements, 32 Group Firsts, 9 Bests in Specialty shows and 4 All Breed Bests in Show.  In 2001, Bob was the number one ranked Dalmatian show dog in the United States and winner of the prestigious Pedigree Award.

Bob won Back-to-Back Best in Show awards in Tennessee in March, 2001, under Judges Frank Nishimura and Roger Hartinger.  He won his fourth All Breed Best in Show in June, 2001 under Judge Raymond Filburn.  He won his ninth Best in Specialty Show and 200th Best of Breed award on the Florida circuit in January, 2002.

He began his specials career in January, 2000 with professional handler Glenn Lycan.  In his first show he was awarded Best of Breed and Non-Sporting Group First at the Daytona Dog Fanciers Association on the Florida circuit.  In his first specialty show, Bob was awarded Best in Specialty Show under judge Keke Kahn at the Combined Specialty Shows of Atlanta.  As a multiple Non-Sporting Group winner, he was awarded his first Best in Show by Judge Don Jones in the fall of 2000.  He won his second specialty at the Mid-Florida Dalmatian Club show in Tampa in July under Judge William Cunningham and his third specialty at the same club's show in January, 2001 under Captain Hal Shorr.  Bob was awarded his 100th Best of Breed award in less than one year on the show circuit and was also awarded the prestigious Award of Merit at the Dalmatian Club of America's National Specialty Show in French Lick, Indiana.

In 2001, Bob won three All Breed Bests in Show and six Dalmatian Specialty shows.  He earned his 150th Best of Breed award in July and was ranked among the top twenty all time winners in the history of the Dalmatian breed.   In early 2002, Bob won his 200th Best of Breed award and ninth Specialty, moving him into the top 15 winners in breed history.

As a young dog, he finished his conformation championship in twelve shows from the Bred By Exhibitor class handled by breeder Elaine Gewirtz.  In 1998, he was awarded Reserve Winners Dog at the National Specialty Show of the Dalmatian Club of American under breeder-judge Patti Strand.   As a puppy, Bob appeared in television commercials in the United States and made a trip to Japan to promote the movie 101 Dalmatians.  Bob's litter sister, Ch. Firebuster's Checkerboard "Evon" was purchased by longtime Dal breeder judges Patrick and Anita Easton in Australia.  When Evon was exported to Australia she became the first American Dalmatian Champion bitch to be imported into Australia.

Continuing the winning tradition, Bob has Champion offpsring as well as sons and daughters in class competition around the United States.  Two of his Get are winners in Dalmatian Specialty Shows.  From dam Korcula Midnight Caitlyn, his daughter, CH. Korcula Midnight Spice "Spice", finished her championship in August, 2001 and his son, Korcula Lyondal Midnight Ryder, is now competing to earn his conformation championship and is major pointed.  He also has sired CH. Fiacre Dare Me Firebuster "Gracey" from dam Ch. Fiacre's Femme Fatale.   Three of Bob's grandchildren are now competing for conformation championships:   Korcula Midnight Escada "Jam", Escada's Court of Coach K "Coach" and Escada's Salt for Trailside "Salt".  Jam and Coach are both pointed and are being selectively shown in 2002.
