A Best in Show and Multiple Best in Specialty Show winner, "Dice" descended from the Green Starr pedigree and from one of the top winning Dalmatians in the history of the breed, Ch. Green Starr’s Colonel Joe. Dice’s sire, Ch. Greenwood’s Rusty Nail, is also a Best in Show and Best in Specialty Show winner. "Rusty" has been a multiple Top Twenty contender and was awarded Best of Opposite Sex at the Dalmatian Club of America National Specialty Show in Lexington, Kentucky.  Carrying on the winning tradition, Dice was ranked in the top twenty most winning Dalmatians in the history of the breed at the time of his retirement in December, 1999.

Dice was handled by his breeder in the classes and finished with three four-point majors and a Best of Breed win. He began his career as a special in the spring of 1997 and was exclusively exhibited by professional handler Glenn Lycan. In addition to his All Breed and Specialty Bests in Show wins, during his career Dice was awarded 154 Best of Breed wins, 55 Group Placements and 13 Group Firsts. He also received the prestigious Award of Merit at the Dalmatian Club of America National Specialty Show in 1998.  Dice was ranked third in the Dalmatian breed on a national basis by the Pedigree and Dog News systems for most of his show career.  He was a Pedigree Breed Award winner in 1998 and 1999.

Following his retirement, Dice was shown at the Dalmatian Club of America National Specialty Show in June, 2000 in French Lick, Indiana.  He was shown in Stud Dog Class, representing the Get of Ch. Greenwood's Rusty Nail.  Dice, Rusty and Jock, another Rusty son, placed third in the event.

Ch. Trailside’s Loaded Dice is also a "high tech dog". He was one of the first show dogs of any breed to have his own site on the Internet where his show results were regularly posted.
