CH. Korcula Midnight Escada "Jam" is descended from the famous line of Korcula Midnight bitches, bred by Dr. Charles and Lynn Garvin in Marion, Ohio.  Korcula is one of  the Dalmatian foundation kennels in America, registered in 1965 by Dr. John and Betty Garvin, Charlie's parents.  Jam is the ninth generation of the Korcula Midnight pedigree which includes Korcula Midnight Serenade "Sarah".  Sarah was winner of the Dalmatian Club of America National Specialty in 1981 and dam of nine champions.  Jam's father and both grandfathers are Best in Show and Best in Specialty Show Winners.  Her grandfather on her sire's side, Ch. Greenwood's Rusty Nail "Rusty", was the 2001 Dalmatian Club of America's National Specialty Winner from the Veteran's class.  Her other grandfather, Ch. Firebuster's Gud Humor Man "Bob", is currently the number one Dalmatian show dog in the country.

Jam is currently ranked in the Top Ten Dalmatian show dogs in the United States.  She has won more than 60 Best of Breed Awards and 4 Group Firsts in less than one year on the show circuit.  Jam was one of three bitches to receive the prestigious Award of Merit at the Dalmatian Club of America's National Specialty Show in May, 2003 under renowned all-breed judge Mrs. James Edward Clark in an entry of 100 specials.  She is shown exclusively by the well known AKC registered handlers Greg Myers and Jane Alston-Myers, assisted by Rindi Gaudet.

Jam began her show career at age 8 months at the Atlanta Georgia Cluster shows in September, 2001.  In her first show, she was awarded Reserve Winners Bitch by Judge Mr. Don Jones.  In her second show, she was selected Winners Bitch from the 6-9 Month Puppy Class by Judge Mrs. Cynthia Jennings.  In the B-Match during the cluster, Jam won the Dalmatian Bred By Exhibitor Class and was then selected as Best Adult Dalmatian.  In the match group competition, she was awarded Non-Sporting Group First in Adult competition.  In the same match, her sister Escada's Salt for Trailside "Salt" was awarded Non-Sporting Group First in Puppy competition.

Jam's liver litter brother CH. Escada's Court of Coach K "Coach K" is being shown concurrently.
